Process & Pricing
Creative Consultation – Let’s talk about your company history, goals, competitors and project in detail over the phone or in person. If meeting in person, we often bring samples and pertinent materials related to the project.
Quote – You will get a detailed quote after the consultation (generally within the week). A signed agreement and 50% deposit is required before commencement of any work.
Research – Our research generally includes visiting stores, thumbing through books/magazines, buying samples, and researching online. We do lots of brainstorming and consider history of the company, current market position/trends, and future goals.
Design – Our main goal is to create a design reflective of your brand and from information we have gathered in the market research.
we will email you 2-4 of our best designs (varies on project). If it is a large project, we will email you portions as we complete them. If it is a logo project, you will receive 3-4 of the best logos we have designed based on our market analysis and your company profile.
Feedback & Revisions – Now it is your turn to provide us with feedback (revisions usually completed within the week)
Printing or Delivery of Files – we can handle all printing and deliver finished pieces to you. Printing cost can be added to the final design invoice. If you are not printing, you will get all files in the required formats.
Final Payment & Customer Service – At this time you pay the remaining balance. We will help answer any design-related questions you may have after a project is complete. We are always an email away.
A Word About Pricing
Design is an investment for your business– your visual identity is what separates you from your competitors. What you will get with Creative Fit Design is bang for your buck, and great client service.
Based on project depth and specifics, We price in 1 of 3 ways–
1. On-going, very large projects– bi-weekly payments.
2. Small-large size projects– flat quote.
3. Very small-small projects (generally changes to an existing project)– hourly rate.
Our rates: We mostly work on a flat rate or package rate basis for medium-large projects. Small projects are hourly – small projects are considered like changes to an existing design you have.
A Little More on Pricing:
If you aren’t familiar with pricing in the design industry, please keep reading…
There are 3 pricing structures more or less.
HIGH PRICING: This is where most agencies and medium-large design studios fall. The pricing is anywhere from $100/hr+ and small projects start around $5000-$8000. Agencies and larger studios are great if you have the luxury of budget and time.
MEDIUM PRICING: This is where small studios and seasoned freelancers, like myself, fall. Pricing is generally $50-$100/hr. and you get the one-on-one attention, as well as smaller timelines.
LOW PRICING: This is where most students (wanting projects for portfolio) or recent graduates fall. This is a good option if your budget is very low, but keep factors like timeliness, communication and basic business skills in mind.
